My Anthem: My Next 30 Years

Something crazy happened shortly after turning 30.

I grew up.

I realized just how much resentment and anger I had been holding on to. Just how exhausted I was from trying to keep the same hours I had ten years earlier.

I got a wake-up call on just how precious life is and how short our time can be.

How much time I had wasted.

And although it was already several years old by that time, Tim McGraw's song My Next Thirty Years became my anthem.
