Share Your Ideas to Celebrate the 4th of July at The Mom Trap: A Mommy Review Blog

Each week for Aloha Friday, hosted by An Island Life, I try to ask a question that requires a (teensy) bit of thought - one last bit of mental stimulation before we all totally lame out for the weekend.

But in the spirit of it being a vacationing week in our home, I'm going to completely, 100% wimp out on trying to come up with a thought provoking question. ;)

So, here is my question for the week:

What is one thing that you do to celebrate the 4th of July that you think is (a little/completely/most definitely) unique?

My Answer:

Every year me, Brian and the kids, along with my brother and sister-in-law, at my parents house to swim, grill out, and play croquet. At the end of the evening, we all venture into to town to watch the fireworks show put on by the city.

Okay, so we're not even a little unique - but it's fun and maybe I'll get some new ideas for y'all! :)

Tara, July 6, 2009 at 1:27 AM: Oh man I can't even hardly claim doing anything exciting..let alone unique lol All we did was light a few fireworks on the driveway.. With some forced 'yays' and that was it lol
