Oh boy, oh boy, OH BOY! KitchenAid couldn't have decided to host a sweepstakes like this at a better time!

Although just in the beginning stages of our extreme home makeover, we're definitely working our way towards the kitchen.  So when I heard about the KitchenAid "Rescue My Appliances" contest, I was tempted to keep it to myself.

You know, to increase my chances of winning. ;)

But I like to share, so -

Here's the details:

From October 5, 2010 through November 2, 2010, you can enter your kitchen in the “Rescue My Appliances” Sweepstakes and win over $8000 worth of appliances!

All you have to do to enter is submit a photo of your old kitchen appliances and you could win a new suite of appliances from KitchenAid® (worth $7,000), Service Live Credits toward remodeling (worth $1,000), and a phone consultation with Susan Serra, our kitchen design expert (worth $200)!

From November 3rd to November 17th there will be public voting so everyone has a chance to rally their friends, family and readers to vote for their submission. Also, for each vote someone casts, they have a chance to win other great KitchenAid prizes!!
